In today's aggressive online marketing world, internationally recognized and award-winning Zyscovish Architects identified the need to deliver an engaging and flexible web presence with a "WOW" factor. The site's objective was to showcase the firm's extensive project list through a strong visual portfolio. In addition consideration was given the end user experience in an effort to make navigating the firm's many services and immense projects portfolio easy and intuitive.
TFI's creative team developed the entire visual language and also provided Zyscovich with their turnkey content management system: AION. AION is an extremely robust content management system that empowers Zyscovich's staff by providing them with intuitive environment powerful enough to administrate any aspect of the website.
For example, a drag-and-drop interface enables the management of the firm's signature project galleries in a method that is easy to grasp and requires no programming knowledge. New projects, news and press releases, project updates are some of the site's sections now updateable by Zyscovich's staff.
This modular system has been 10 years in the making and is proprietary to The Factory Interactive. AION is particularly well suited for architects, interior designers and contractors but its extensibility makes it portable to just about any enterprise level installation.
In addition, all of the site's content is controlled through a roles-based system that combines security and oversight with timeliness and flexibility. The roles-based security is built on a series of permission levels. Junior personnel have the ability to make some content edits that are then presented to senior personnel for review, revision and publishing.
Being in the forefront of environmentally conscious designs, Zyscovish Architects wanted the site built to accommodate their corporate environmental pledge "Simply Green" and their initiative to elicit public feedback on Master Plan designs. TFI included a "Public Forum" space to the AION system that allows for comments and public discussion on proposed projects.
